Our involvement with VEX.

The team has participated in VEX from the very beginning of its season in 2008. VEX was chosen for its affordability and its large community in Hawaii. We have many regional competitions here on the island including one of the largest regional competition in the world the Pan Pacific Regional. We won the Judges Award and have doing so gone to the VEX World Championship in 2009 . We have also received the Excellence Award in 2009-2010. In the 2010-2011 we successfully became the competition winner at a regional and have gone the the 2011 world championships in Disney Florida. At the 2011 world championships we have been awarded with the Design Award and the Future Award.

How the Team Works.

We open the VEX robotics system to all student of our school. We usually create from 2 - 4 teams. Each team consists of builders, programmers, and PR.
