2011 First Robotics Competition
About Logomotion.
The 2011 logomotion was announced during kickoff on Jan 8. Since then the teams across the world have 6 weeks till crating and the start of the regional competitions.

Team 3008.
This years robot called Highrise performed at
the Hawaii Regional. Its linear elevator lift rises to score
at the top pegs. It utilizes pneumatic actuators to
grasp the game pieces.
The Chassis has six wheels driven by four cim motor.
The cim motors are also powered up by utilizing the andy
marks new product the super shifter, allowing for a
transmission action also controlled by pneumatics.
2011 World Championships.
This year the world championships were held at the America’s center the Edward Jones Dome in Saint Louis, Missouri from April 27-30. This year over 300 teams worldwide participated.
